More Loft less roll, less loft more roll.

An important lesson to learn is determining the proper club selection for each short game shot.  The primary factor in this decision is how much green there is from the edge of the green to the hole.  This will obviously vary depending on the angle of your approach shot to the hole.  The less loft on the clubface ie. 6 or 7 iron the more roll once the ball hits the green.  With more loft ie. pitching wedge or sand wedge your shots will get less roll on the green.
